The Unified Association of Waste Management of Crete (ESDAK), invites you to participate in the Information Day on the topic: “Management of Bio-Waste in the Region of Crete: Policy and Application”.
The Information Day will take place on Monday, January 30 at 10:00 a.m., in the Polykentro Youth Center hall of the Municipality of Heraklion.
As part of the Conference, the infrastructure and the expected benefits from the operation of the new Waste Treatment Unit and Landfill of Amario, which is the first Unit in Crete with a separate Bio-waste line, will be presented. At the same time, information will be provided on the planned actions for the separate collection and processing of Bio-waste and other waste streams, while the benefits and ways in which their separate management contributes to the lives of citizens and to society in general will be presented. In addition, the Bio-waste projects implemented within the framework of the Regional Waste Management Plan (PESDA) of Crete will be thoroughly mentioned.
